PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator of a commodity registration device to monitor abnormality in a storage state of money in a settlement device.SOLUTION: The commodity registration device is provided with a generation part, a transmission part, an inquiry part, a reception part, a display part, and a notification part. The generation part registers information relating to a commodity to be settled, and generates settlement information for settlement of the registered commodity. The transmission part transmits the settlement information generated by the generation part to a settlement device. The inquiry part inquires of the settlement device about a balance of the money stored in a change machine. The reception part receives balance information transmitted by the settlement device in response to the inquiry by the inquiry part. The display part displays the balance indicated by the balance information received by the reception part. The notification part notifies, when there is preset abnormality in the balance presented by the balance information, a preset notification destination of the abnormality of the balance in response to a notification instruction by the operator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
