PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device which can reduce the number of lines of harness and improves durability and reliability of an electric conduction path to the electric brake device.SOLUTION: An electric brake device includes a brake rotor 4, a brake lining 5, an electrically-driven motor 6, a transmission mechanism 7, a power supply device 2 and a brake control device 3. The power supply device 2 is a variable power supply device which can superimpose a variable component on an output and has instruction superimposition means 9 which varies the variable component in accordance with a target brake force instructed from brake force instruction means 10. The brake control device 3 has target brake force extraction means 17 which extracts a variable component of an output of the power supply device 2 as a target brake force and instruction responsive power control means 18 which controls a power to be applied to the motor 6 in accordance with the extracted target brake force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
