PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method of avoiding tearing, breakage, and other damages when a vulcanization molded article of a tire tread is removed from a mold of a curing press.SOLUTION: A tire tread die-cutter 300 used for manufacturing a tread, includes: a frame 302; a first nip roller 306 rotatably associated with the frame; and a second nip roller 314 rotatably associated with the frame. The first nip roller and the second nip roller are fitted so as to be at least partially engaged with a tire tread 114 in a mold 108. A drive mechanism operates to add rotation movement to the first nip roller and/or the second nip roller, and the frame 302 is moved in a longitudinal direction along an actual part in a longitudinal direction of the mold, while keeping the first nip roller and the second nip roller in a relationship separated from the mold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
