PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus the state information of which can be confirmed without interfering with the visibility of key information, when the imaging apparatus is in the recording preparation state, and to provide a display control method in the imaging apparatus and a computer program for use in the imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus is constituted of a display section for displaying a subject image obtained through a lens, a recording section for recording the subject image, a state detector for detecting the state of the imaging apparatus, state information display means for displaying the state information of the imaging apparatus, detected by the state detector, on a display unit while superposing on the subject image, and a preparation operation member receiving preparation operation instructing recording preparation of the subject image on the recording section. In this constitution, the state information display means controls the display form of the state information, displayed on the display unit, depending on the reception of preparation operation by the preparation operation member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
