A method for manufacturing a multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive assembly comprising at least a first pressure sensitive adhesive polymer layer superimposed to a second polymer layer, the method comprising the steps of: a) providing a substrate; b) providing a curable liquid precursor of the first pressure sensitive adhesive polymer layer and a curable liquid precursor of the second polymer layer as superimposed layers onto the substrate; c) optionally, providing one or more solid films and applying these essentially simultaneously with the formation of the adjacent lower polymer layer; and d) curing the precursor of the multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive assembly thus obtained; wherein the curable liquid precursor of the first pressure sensitive adhesive polymer layer comprises: a) 60 parts by weight or greater of a low Tg (meth)acrylate copolymer comprising: i. C1-C32 (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer units;ii. optionally, acid functional ethylenically unsaturated monomer units;iii. optionally, non-acid functional, ethylenically unsaturated polar monomer units;iv. optionally, vinyl monomer units; andv. optionally, multifunctional (meth)acrylate monomer units, and b) up to 40 parts by weight of a high Tg (meth)acrylate copolymer having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of above 20,000 Daltons, and comprising: i. high Tg (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer units;ii. optionally, acid functional ethylenically unsaturated monomer units;iii. optionally, low Tg (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer units;iv. optionally, non-acid functional, ethylenically unsaturated polar monomer units;v. optionally, vinyl monomer units; and c) optionally, up to 20 parts by weight of a hydrogenated hydrocarbon tackifier, based on 100 parts by weight of copolymers a) and b).
