The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a positive electrode active material of a lithium battery cell, which manufactures lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO_4) with carbon having high electrical conductivity coated on a surface thereof, which is a positive electrode active material of a lithium battery cell. The manufacturing method includes the following steps: manufacturing the lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO_4) by mixing iron (Fe)-based compound, a phosphate ion ((PO4)^(3-))-based compound, and a lithium (Li)-based compound; mixing polyethylene glycol with the manufactured lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO_4); mixing a nano-sized zinc metal oxide with the mixture of the lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO_4) and the polyethylene glycol; and treating the mixture of the lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO_4), the polyethylene glycol, and the zinc metal oxide by heating in order to manufacture the lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO_4) with carbon coated on the surface thereof. |
