<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast transmission apparatus which constitutes one broadcast program by switching a plurality of streams of MPEG-2 TS format. <P>SOLUTION: A first correction is performed so that PCR may continue before and after switching. That is, a gap between the PCR and PTS after switching is made to slide as it was, and a correction is performed so that the PCR may continue before and after switching. However, in this correction, the PTS does not always continue. Then, a second correction which secures continuity of the PTS is performed. In addition, a stream after switching is need to be switched from an I frame which is not influenced by a previous frame at the time of carrying out decoding in terms of the property of MPEG-2 TS format stream. Therefore, the PTS of the I frame of the stream after switching is corrected so that the PTS may continue before and after switching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
