An antenna array comprises a plurality of antenna elements including: a first antenna element having a lengthwise direction along a plane; a second antenna element having a lengthwise direction along the plane and adjacent to the first antenna element; and a third antenna element having a lengthwise direction along the plane and adjacent to the first antenna element. The first and second antenna elements are arranged in a line in the longitudinal direction along the plane. The first and third antenna elements are arranged in a line in the lateral direction along the plane. The center of the second antenna element in the lengthwise direction thereof is located on an extension line of the lengthwise direction of the first antenna element. The center of the first antenna element in the lengthwise direction thereof is located on an extension line of the lengthwise direction of the third antenna element.
