An HDMI connector assembly and male connector thereof; a female socket (100) of the HDMI connector assembly comprises a female socket terminal base (110), a plurality of terminals (120) embedded in the female socket terminal base (110), and a housing (130) covering the female socket terminal base (110); the housing (130) has a first outer covering surface (132) and second outer covering surface (136) opposing each other; the first outer covering surface (132) is provided with a first elastic piece (133), and the second outer covering surface (136) is provided with a second elastic piece (137); the first elastic piece (133) has a first engaging portion (134) protruding inwards; and the second elastic piece (137) has a second engaging portion (138) protruding inwards. A male connector (200) comprises an insulating terminal base (210), a plurality of terminals (220) embedded in the insulating terminal base (210), and a housing (230) covering the insulating terminal base (210); the housing (230) comprises a first surface (232) and second surface (236) opposing each other; the first surface (232) has a first engaging hole (234) for engaging with the first engaging portion (134); the second surface (236) has an elastic outwardly-protruding portion (237) protruding outwards relative to the second surface (236) and having an elastic fitting with the second engaging portion (138). The HDMI connector assembly and the male connector (200) thereof enable the female socket (100) and the male connector (200) to have a closer elastic fitting.
