PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient semiconductor light emitting element.SOLUTION: A semiconductor light emitting element includes a metal layer, first conductivity type first and third semiconductor layers, second conductivity type second and fourth semiconductor layers, first and second luminescent layers, first through sixth electrodes and a first inter-element wiring part. The second semiconductor layer is provided between the first and second regions and the metal layer. The third semiconductor layer includes the fourth through sixth regions which extend in a second direction. The fourth semiconductor layer is provided between the fourth and fifth regions and the metal layer. The first and second electrodes are provided between the second semiconductor layer and the metal layer in the first and second regions, respectively. The third electrode is provided between the third region and the metal layer. The fourth and fifth electrodes are provided between the fourth semiconductor layer and the metal layer in the fourth and fifth regions. The sixth electrode is provided between the sixth region and the metal layer.
