Disclosed are an off-line update method and device for a light application, and a terminal, which belong to the technical field of Internet. The method comprises: respectively setting an off-line partition for each light application (101); for any light application, when the network download speed is greater than a preset threshold value, acquiring key elements of a page corresponding to the light application (102); storing the key elements of the page as off-line data in a corresponding off-line partition (103); and when a start operation of the light application is detected, acquiring an off-line configuration item corresponding to the light application from a server; and according to the off-line configuration item, processing the off-line data in the off-line partition of the light application (104). When a terminal detects a start operation of a light application, an off-line configuration item corresponding to the light application is acquired from a server, and off-line data in an off-line partition of the light application is processed according to the off-line figuration item. Thus, the purpose of eliminating the off-line data of light applications under the control of a cloud server is achieved, so that a user can browse a webpage under the conditions of having no network or having a weak network, thereby improving the user experience. |
