The present invention relates to a method for providing a taxi coupon for the fair use of a taxi. The method for providing a taxi coupon comprises the steps of: (a) receiving location information about the departure point and destination of a user from a taxi coupon providing terminal; (b) generating a traffic route and taxi fare information in consideration of at least one among the distance between the departure point and the destination, the degree of traffic congestion, and tolls, issuing a taxi coupon based on the taxi fare information, and transmitting the taxi coupon to the taxi coupon providing terminal; (c) searching for a predetermined number of taxis near the departure point among the taxis registered in the database of a taxi coupon providing server; and (d) transmitting, to terminals installed in the searched taxis, operation information including the location information about the departure point and the destination. The method for providing a taxi coupon according to the present invention enables passengers to comfortably go to the destination by providing the passengers with a predetermined taxi fare to eliminate anxiety about unkindness, overcharging, and refusing passengers. Particularly, the method for providing a taxi coupon can provide tourists with the friendly image of Korea by eliminating anxiety about overcharging or refusing passengers. |
