According to an embodiment of the present invention, a gaze correction device comprises: an image obtainment unit for receiving an image of an object to generate an image signal; an eye region detection unit for detecting an eye region from the generated image signal; and a correction unit for determining a gaze direction of the eye, and correcting an image of the eye region according to the gaze direction of the eye.
