With an insulation structure of a rotating electric machine which comprises a fixed element and a rotating element, fixed element teeth which configure the fixed element comprise: an iron core (31) formed by layering sheets of a soft magnetic material, a wire which is positioned in the circumference of the iron core (31), and insulation bodies (32a, 32b) which are positioned between the iron core (31) and the wire. The insulation bodies (32a, 32b) are configured of either stretching members or members with bending elasticity, are mounted upon the circumference of the iron core (31) in either a stretched state or a spread state, and have a tensile strength and bending strength whereby the sheets of the soft magnetic material which configure the iron core (31) are pressed in the layering thickness direction thereof. Thus, it is possible to provide a rotating electric machine insulation structure and a method for fabricating same, whereby it is possible to moldlessly fabricate fixed element teeth having an arbitrary shape. |
