<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation in image quality of a picked up image based on a pair of pixel output signals used also in detection of a focus adjustment state. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an imaging element in which a pixel is arranged that, in an imaging surface disposed on an intended focal surface of a photographing optical system, receives a light beam passing through a pair of regions set on a specific surface apart from the imaging surface to the photographing optical system side by a predetermined distance, and outputs a signal according to a light receiving amount; and image generating means for generating image data based on the signal output from the pixel arranged in the imaging element. The image generating means corrects the signal by multiplying the signal by a correction coefficient that becomes greater as a F value of the photographing optical system becomes greater to convert to imaging output, and generates image data based on the imaging output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
