PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium excelling in water resistance and water blocking resistance and being excellent in adhesion of the support and the thermal recording layer and color development.SOLUTION: In a heat-sensitive recording medium that includes a thermal recording layer that contains a leuco dye, a developer, and an adhesive on a support comprising synthetic paper or a synthetic resin film, the thermal recording layer contains olefin acrylic acid system copolymer salt and styrene butadiene latex as an adhesive. It is desirable that the content ratio of the olefin acrylic acid system copolymer salt is 2.5-25 mass% in all solid contents of the thermal recording layer, and the content ratio of the styrene butadiene latex is 10-40 mass%. |
