The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an eco-friendly deodorant containing Wasabia koreana NAKAI as a main ingredient for removing sick building syndrome. The method comprises the following steps: (a) putting 10,000-13,000 parts by weight of purified water with respect to 100 parts by weight of Wasabia koreana NAKAI powder, and mixing the same; (b) adding 5-13 parts by weight of anhydrous ethyl alcohol and then mixing the same by rotating an agitator at 50-80 rpm for 30-90 minutes; and (c) adding 10-45 parts by weight of Cynanchum wilfordii powder, 30-55 parts by weight of Chinese parasol tree (fruits of Chinese parasol tree) powder, and 1.5-2.5 parts by weight of germanium powder, agitating the mixture in the agitator at 2,500-3,000 rpm for 30-60 minutes, and then filtering the mixture. Accordingly, volatile organic compounds (VOC) such as formaldehyde, toluene, xylene, benzene, etc., which are the main materials causing the sick building syndrome can be easily and effectively removed through simple application onto the surface of an interior finishing material. The deodorant deodorizes 48 μmol/mol of formaldehyde by 90.0% within 120 minutes, and removes fungi due to dew condensation by 94.6% within 480 minutes, as stated in a test report. |
