In a piezoelectric element where a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer are alternately stacked and a piezoelectric layer is interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, the first electrode layer comprises a pair of first electrodes arranged at both sides in order to separate both inner end parts of the electrode layer from each other. The second electrode layer comprises a pair of second electrodes arranged at both sides in order to separate both inner end parts of the second electrode layer from each other. A straight line which connects the inner end part of the first electrode and the inner end part of the second electrode arranged on a side, is at an angle of less than 90 degrees from the lengthwise direction of the piezoelectric layer.
