The present invention relates to a group of cancer detecting oligonucleotides which has a specific sequence and is hybridized with a cancer cell nucleic acid; a cancer diagnosis kit comprising the oligonucleotide group with the specific sequence; and a method for providing information required for the cancer diagnosis and prognosis. The method of the present invention differs from a conventional method which involves the detection of somatic mutation using genomic DNA (gDNA). Instead, the method of the present invention enables the early diagnosis of specific cancer depending on the mutation on a specific gene using RNA. According to the present invention, since the detection of mutation which has not been found by gDNA becomes possible, all sorts of cancer-related genetic mutations can be detected only with a single RAN extraction. Thus, the quick and precise diagnosis can be made. Particularly, the method of the present invention enables the simultaneous detection of every mutation associated with thyroid cancer, thereby making it possible to diagnose thyroid cancer in a quick and precise way.
