<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair capable of preventing a lumbar support member from easily floating from a backrest, stabilizing a position during movement and also facilitating attaching work. <P>SOLUTION: In the chair including a backrest and a lumbar support member 200 supported by the backrest movably in the vertical direction, the backrest includes: an opening 117 opened in the horizontal direction for supporting the right and left side parts of the lumbar support member so as not to fall and so as to be movable in the vertical direction on both right and left side parts; and a slidable contact surface 111g in the vertical direction more on the inner side in the horizontal direction from the opening. The lumbar support member includes: an operation support part 220 supported by the opening on both right and left side parts; a holding member connected to the operation support part and projected more to the outer side part from the opening, to be held by a sitting person; an energizing means 223 for elastically energizing the operation support part to the rear; and a slidable contact projection part to be in slidable contact with the slidable contact surface of the backrest when the lumbar support member is moved in the vertical direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
