PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image holding body that can suppress, when a plurality of C-shape contact members are supported inside a cylindrical body, the positions in the circumferential direction of the plurality of contact members from being shifted from each other with respect to the cylindrical body, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A projection 106 extending in an apparatus depth direction is formed on the inner surface 108A of a cylindrical body 108. Contact members 116A and 116B are supported inside the cylindrical body 108 so that the projection 106 of the cylindrical body 108 is arranged in separation spaces 140A and 140B of the contact members 116A and 116B. This configuration suppresses the positions in the circumferential direction of the contact members 116A and 116B from being shifted from each other with respect to the cylindrical body 108.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
