A construction system comprising a set of accessory elements (2, 19) and a set of bodies (1) of elongate shape is intended to produce a construction by joining together a plurality of said bodies (1) with accessory elements (2, 19). The body (1) of elongate shape comprises a planar front face (3) and a planar rear face (4) that are opposite one another, a planar top face (5) and a planar bottom face (6) that are opposite one another, and two opposite lateral faces (7, 8). At least one of said two lateral faces has a set-back part, in particular a curvature (9), in its central part. Each body (1) is able to be joined to another body (1) with their lateral faces (7, 8) together and/or with a bottom face (6) of one body (1) being joined to the top face (5) of another body (1) and/or with a lateral face (7, 8) of one body (1) being joined to the front face (3) or rear face (4) of another body (1). The accessory elements (2) are elongate components which are inserted between and so as to be in contact with the set-back parts (9) of the two elongate bodies (1) that are joined together in a mutually facing manner, and which extend over all or a substantial part of the height of the elongate bodies (1). The elongate components (2, 19) define, by themselves in the case of hollow elongate components (2) or by cooperation of these elongate components (19) with the mutually facing set-back parts (9) of the elongate bodies (1), a central space (21) between and in the middle of the set-back parts (9) of the elongate bodies (1). The elongate components (2, 19) furthermore define lateral spaces (11) between the lateral faces of the set-back parts (9) of the elongate bodies (1) on either side of the elongate components (2, 19). |
