The present invention relates to a composite stiffener, in particular 3D enclosed frame composite stiffener, intended for reinforcing a part of motor vehicle body, such as tail door of passenger cars for restriction up to elimination of effects of stresses acting thereon during operation, wherein the stiffener consists of a composite layer (1), consisting of at least one layer (2) wound on a molding core (4) of wound fiber strands (3), optionally so called rovings of glass, carbon or other similar continuous fibers saturated with a polymeric mat. The internal structure of the composite layer (1) is controlled especially by a density and/or angle of winding and/or the kind of the fiber strands (3), varies according to the prevailing different kind and size of its mechanical stress and is formed by combination of spiral-wound fiber strands (3.1) and longitudinally wound fiber strands (3.2), which at least in a portion of the composite layer (1) pass over between each other continuously due to the change in the angle of their winding, whereby the internal structure of the composite layer (1) is composed, in a twist-loaded section, especially of spiral-wound fiber strands (3.1) while in the tension- and/or bend-loaded section is composed particularly of the longitudinally wound fiber strands (3.2), which are coiled around by at least fixing fiber strands (3.3). |
