PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide which includes a light shielding part capable of surely preventing unnecessary light leakage, and an illumination device.SOLUTION: An illumination device 100 includes a light guide 1 and a substrate 50 in which a light source 40 is provided, and the light guide 1 is provided on the substrate 50 so that an incident part 1a of the light guide 1 corresponds to the light source 40. The light guide 1 includes: a plate body 10 for emitting the light entered from the light source 40 to an illumination region 10a; and a light shielding part 20 arranged on an outer edge part 10b of the plate body 10. Then, on one surface of the plate body 10, a plurality of dot-like recessed parts 10c are provided so as to be along the outer edge part 10b in a plan view. The light shielding part 20 has a permeation layer 22 in which dark color coating coated in the region including the plurality of recessed parts 10c is permeated to the other surface of the plate body 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
