PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an applicator having a shutter member in a tip opening thereby to develop the applicator shortened in moving stroke of a knock member and made easy to view its pen point.SOLUTION: An applicator comprises a movable body 3 having an applying part 7, and the movable body 3 can move in the axial direction in a barrel 2. A shutter member 8 rotates in a direction to intersect the barrel 2 thereby to open and close a tip opening 6 of the barrel 2. The applicator is equipped in the barrel 2 with a rotatable component 21, which is equipped with a rotor side engagement part 36 and which engages with the shutter member 8. A portion of the movable body 3 engages with the rotor side engagement part 36 to rotate the rotatable component 21, and rotates the shutter member 8 by the rotatable component 21 thereby to open the tip opening 6 of the barrel 2. |
