PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method having high transfer efficiency and being capable of obtaining a high-quality image.SOLUTION: An image recording method includes: a liquid composition application step of applying a liquid composition to an intermediate transfer body; an intermediate image formation step of applying ink to the intermediate transfer body applied with the liquid composition and forming an intermediate image; and a transfer step of transferring the intermediate image to a recording medium. In the image recording method, the ink contains color materials and first resin particles, the liquid composition contains a reactant and second resin particles satisfying a relation of a storage elastic modulus represented by an equation (1) and an application amount of the second resin particles to the intermediate transfer body is equal to 0.5 g/mor more and is equal to 5.0 g/mor less in the intermediate image formation step. |
