The present invention relates to a seal for a gas turbine, and a seal assembly including the same, capable of sealing a gap between the inner surface of a gas turbine and a blade, installed on the inner surface of the gas turbine to be connected to a rotor. The seal assembly includes: a casing including a combination groove formed into a ring shaped groove along the edge of the inner surface, and a gas hole supplying high pressure gas to the combination groove; and a seal ring sealing a gap between the casing and the blade, installed in the combination groove to be connected to the rotor. The seal ring includes: a non-penetrable seal part formed outside the sealing ring, and heading for the casing; a porous seal part formed inside the non-penetrable seal part; and a ring-shaped balance groove formed between the non-penetrable seal part and the porous seal part, and having the same central axis as the seal ring. The high pressure gas is supplied to the balance groove through the gas hole, therefore, sealing is performed while there is not contact between a blade tip, formed at an end part of the blade, and the non-penetrable seal part. |
