Disclosed are a service registry updating method, apparatus, server and client. The service registry updating method is applied to a server side and comprises: receiving a first service registry updating request from a client; acquiring a registered service of a first communication identity of the client; and updating the registry information of the service by using a second communication identity of the client. The present disclosure enables a user to easily update the registered service after the communication identity is replaced, thereby improving the client experience.
