<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar heating element having durability with respect to bending deformation and comprising an electrode part having stable electrical characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A planar heating element 1 comprises a heating part 2 and an electrode part 3. The heating part 2 is configured by weaving and arraying warp 20 that is foundation yarn comprised of an insulative fiber material and weft 21 that is heating yarn comprised of a conductive fiber material coating its surface with a conductive material in longitude and latitude directions, respectively. The electrode part 3 is formed with a predetermined width adjacently to the heating part 2 and configured by weaving a plurality of conductive yarn 30 which is arrayed in place of the warp 20 and the weft 21. As the conductive yarn 30, processing yarn is used which is obtained by covering a core thread with metal fibers and of which the resistance is 1 to 50 Ω/m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
