CONTROL OF MYOPIA USING CONTACT LENS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for controlling myopia. SOLUTION: The device and method relates to a discovery of the inventor's discovery of the relationship between near work and a force applied to an eye by an eyelid, and myopia. The device includes a contact lens comprising a region that disperses a force applied to the eye by the eyelid. The device also includes a device designed by measuring first wavefront aberrations of an eye before near work and measuring second wavefront aberrations of the eye after near work. The method includes a method for controlling myopia including a step of identifying an optical change associated with near work and a step of correcting the optical change with an optical device.
