PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to satisfactorily take an image of himself or herself looking into a camera.SOLUTION: This information processing apparatus comprises a controller that acquires two images each including the face of the user being a subject taken from positions different in the longitudinal direction of the face, determines whether or not the faces included in the two images belong to an identical person, and when the images belong to an identical person, starts a mode of generating a sight corrected image by replacing the image of an eye portion in one of the images with the image of the eye portion in the other image.
