The present invention relates to an edge band and a manufacturing method thereof which finish the edge of furniture to have an improved appearance and, more specifically, to an edge band and a manufacturing method thereof which have a simplified manufacturing process and a structure having excellent workability through a primer sheet where primer is previously formed. The edge band comprises: a core sheet; and a primer sheet of which one surface is coupled to the core sheet through thermal compression and the other surface allows a primer layer to be formed thereon. After the primer layer is formed on the other surface of the primer sheet, the core sheet is coupled to one surface of the primer sheet through thermal compression. |
