An electronic cigarette. An e-liquid retaining member (22) of the electronic cigarette is inserted into a liquid storage vial (14), and the e-liquid in the vial (14) is delivered to an atomizer (24) for atomization. One end of a first atomization device (241) contacts the e-liquid retaining member (22), and the other end contacts the middle section of a second atomization device (242); and, the first atomization device (241) conducts the e-liquid in the e-liquid retaining member (22) to the second atomization device (242). When a user inhales, the first atomization device (241) atomizes the e-liquid and produces a small amount of vapor, and the second atomization device (242) may then produce a large amount of vapor through further atomization and thereby make up for the insufficient amount of atomized vapor produced by the first atomization device. Unatomized e-liquid present in the vapor produced during atomization by the first atomization device (241) is atomized a second time by the second atomization device (242) while passing therethrough such that non-fully-atomized e-liquid can then be fully atomized. Moreover, the e-liquid in the second atomization device (242) is provided from the first atomization device (241), eliminating the problem of the second atomization device (242) being overly saturated by e-liquid. This provides for larger amounts of smoother, softer vapor and allows for the prevention of e-liquid inhalation. |
