Moving-image-content display devices have been incapable of performing situation-dependent automatic switching between content in which video advertisement images are temporally inserted into moving-image content to be watched, and content in which video advertisement images are spatially inserted into the moving-image content to be watched. This moving-image-content display device determines a method for displaying a video advertisement image to be displayed, the method being determined according to the nature of acquired moving-image content, and/or the nature of an acquired application, and/or the operation of a user using the moving-image content display device; and, according to the determined method for displaying the video advertisement image, combines and outputs the moving-image content, application, and the acquired video advertising image, whereby the method for displaying content into which the video advertisement image has been inserted is automatically switched. |
