Disclosed are an ice maker and a refrigerator comprising the same. The ice maker according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an ice tray having partitioned spaces for receiving ice-making water; an ejector for separating ice in the ice tray; a detection unit for detecting at least one of the position of the ejector and the temperature of the ice tray; a control box which is provided to face the ice tray and comprises therein a motor for operating the ejector and a printed circuit board; and a surface type heater which is provided in the ice tray, and includes a heating element of a metal thin film or a heat wire and an insulating member surrounding the heating element, wherein the surface type heater is adhered to the ice tray by being pressed by an instrument provided in the ice tray or is adhered to the ice tray by being bonded thereto.
