PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a hollow particle capable of easily providing powder containing large amount of single hollow particle, low in hygroscopic property and high in uniformity of particle diameter, and a hollow particle obtained by the same.SOLUTION: A powder containing a hollow particle having single void inside by preparing a seed particle from a seed polymer having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 10,000 to 200,000 by polymerizing a monofunctional hydrophobic monomer (A), adding an oil phase liquid for polymerization where an oil soluble polymerization initiator to a monomer mixture consisting of a hydrophobic crosslinked monomer (B) and a monofunctional hydrophobic monomer having copolymerizability thereto (C) where an oil soluble with percentage content of the monofunctional hydrophobic monomer (C) of 50 to 90 mass% so that the monomer mixture is 3 to 50 pts.mass based on 1 pt.mass of the seed particle, polymerizing the hydrophobic crosslinked monomer (B) and the monofunctional hydrophobic monomer (C) in a presence of the seed particle. |
