PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device that can suppress a toner from dropping from the periphery of the cleaning device while suppressing chipping of a photoreceptor drum, and an image forming apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a cleaning device 1 that cleans the surface of a photoreceptor drum 11 on which a latent image formed through charging is developed with a toner to form a toner image, the cleaning device including: a cleaning member 6 that removes a residual toner from the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11; side seal members 5 that are in contact with the ends of the photoreceptor drum 11 to prevent a toner from leaking from the ends of the cleaning member 6; and press-contact members 70 that are attached to the rear faces of the side seal members 5 while cavity parts 80 are present between the ends of the photoreceptor drums 11 and the side seal members 5. |
