<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can be easily relocated. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes a data storage unit 20 for storing data of a plurality of set item groups, a connection status confirmation unit 171 for confirming a connection state with a communication medium, and a set item selection unit 174 for selecting a set item group from the plurality of set item groups. The plurality of set item groups includes an initial set item group, a first set item group corresponding to a first connection state, and a second set item group corresponding to a second connection state different from the first connection state.
