<p>The device has illuminating elements i.e. LEDs (7), for selectively illuminating gemstones (3) e.g. plastic stone, to display time. Control devices (10, 10', 10'') control the illuminating elements and include a flexible printed circuit board (8), which is bent in a mounted position. The board is arranged in a rigid housing (2) and folded in a region (9). A thickness of the board is approximately 0.125 mm. The board is made of polyamide as a base material. Peaks and/or panels of the gemstones include a covered convex bend. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a time display device. The gemstone is a natural stone, ground stone or glass stone.</p> |
