A method for protecting data in a memory is provided to perform encoding and decoding operations in real time when storing data at a memory and to enable a user to search data conveniently by changing the storage position of data at his/her own way even when scanning the memory. A memory address of a protection target memory is registered at a memory break point(S120), and an interrupt occurs when a certain process accesses the memory break point(S130). It is judged whether or not the process accesses the memory break point through a normal path when an interrupt occurs(S140). If so, data are encoded(S150) so that the stored data are read out by being decoded(S160).
