PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-installation curtain box firmly fixed to any type of curtain rails and manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: This post-installation curtain box 1 has a pair of clamp means 5 for clamping a curtain rail assembly 2. Each clamp means consists of a lower-side clamp jaw 3 having a first side jaw 3 and a top plate 3B having an upright bolt 6, an upper-side clamp jaw 4 having a second side jaw 4A and a top plate 4B formed with a slot 7 where the upright bolt 6 penetrates, and retaining means mutually retaining the respective clamp jaws in adjustment positions for firmly gripping the clamp jaws 3 and 4 to the curtain rail assembly 2. This curtain box is further provided with a rail covering box 10 having a pair of long holes 11 where the upright bolt 6 can penetrate, a side face alone facing the base and a window wall opened and fixed to the upright bolt with fixing means 13, 14 and 15.
