A movable tool support for a line boring machine is provided to prevent a boring bar from interfering with a cylinder head by supporting a middle part of the boring bar using the movable tool support. A movable tool support(1) for a line boring machine comprises a driving cylinder(10) installed on a jig-part frame(113) of the line boring machine, a movable plate(20) that moves up and down by the driving cylinder, a guide bar(30) for guiding the operation of the movable plate, a position control unit for controlling the operation of the driving cylinder, an adjustment plate(50) for adjusting a position of the movable plate, and a bush(60) inserted into a hole of the adjustment plate. The guide bar is installed on the movable plate and inserted into a guide hole(115) formed in the jig-part frame.
