PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately manage the occurrence of failures without reporting failures in excess even when a failure occurs in a shared hardware resource, and to reduce manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: This information processor is provided with: a division mode information storage part 30; a hardware resource management information storage part 51; a failure notification part 103; an operation mode detection part 13; a shared hardware resource determination part 14; and a common failure report generation part 15 for generating one common failure report based on failure detection notification to be notified from each of the failure notification parts 103 installed in a plurality of physical partitions sharing the shared hardware resource when it is detected that a partition mode is set, and when it is determined that the failure is detected in the shared hardware resource.
