Method and device for recycling materials containing hydrocarbons

The method involves subjecting the hydrocarbon containing materials to a time- and temperature-stepped conditioning in an inert atmosphere and in normal- or low-pressure in a tubular reactor which contains conveying and mixing units. The liquid hydrocarbons formed are removed on one or multiple positions along the longitudinal axis of the tubular reactor. The solid carbon formed is removed on one of the end of the tubular reactor after cooling. The pyrolysis takes place in spatially separated areas in carbonization, refinement and after treatment steps. An independent claim is included for an arrangement for pyrolysis of hydrocarbon-containing materials.
