PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for RRC connection reestablishment in wireless communication system are provided to guarantee the continuity of the RRC connection by reducing the out-of-service time of the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A transmission module(1510) receives a signal for cell quality information measurement from the cells using Radio Access Technology in RRC(Radio Resource Control) connection resetting stage. A processor(1550) measures the cell quality information using the received signal, and selects the target cell according to the measured cell quality information. The transmission module transmits the RRC connection reset require-message to the selected subject cell.
