<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank supporting structure in a vehicle capable of firmly supporting a fuel tank by a vehicle body side. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel tank supporting structure comprises a pair of outwardly directed flanges 7, 8 which are protruded from a tank body 4, overlapped and seam-welded, a sheet metal-made reinforcing body 12 housed to the outwardly directed flanges 7, 8, and a tightening tool 14 which passes through a protruded end side 13 and the reinforcing body 12 from seam-welded portions 9 of the outwardly directed flanges 7, 8 and integrally tightened to the vehicle body 2 side. The reinforcing body 12 is housed to the outwardly directed flanges 7, 8 across the seam-welded portions 9. A part 26 of the inner surface of the reinforcing body 12 is separated from the seam-welded portions 9, and the other part 27 of the inner surface of the reinforcing body 12 is pressed against each outer surface on the protruded end side 13 of the outwardly directed flanges 7, 8 and on the base part side 28 from the seam-welded portions 9 at the outwardly directed flanges 7, 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
