<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a safety device for a door so that complicatedness is not felt in the case of conscious closing without damaging security in the case of careless closing. SOLUTION: The safety device for the door with a stopper member (13), by which the state, in which the position of projection disturbing the total enclosing of the door by pinching between the door (3) and a door stop frame (1a) can be held, and the state, in which movement to the position of a retraction is enabled so as not to disturb the total enclosing of the door in the case of a collision against the door stop frame, are selected, has a sliding member (12) unified with the stopper member and elastically urged at all times in the direction that the stopper member is projected, a weight member (15) supported in a displaceable manner along the direction of movement of the door to the sliding member and relatively displaced with the sliding member when acceleration higher than a fixed value is applied to the door, and a limiting means (such as a cam composed of inclined planes 20 and 21 and a brake member 19) limiting the movement of the sliding member so that the stopper member is not retracted in the case of movement at a fixed quantity of the weight member. Accordingly, a finger-pinching safety device is operated only when fixed acceleration works to the door, and no resistance may be generated when the door is closed slowly.</p> |
