PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for recognizing a point of an absolute encoder using PLC are provided to implement a servo driver and a motor using the absolute encoder without a point god and a point sensor for recognizing the point. CONSTITUTION: A motor(316,318,320,322) linearly moves a driver(324) at each axis by rotating according to the control. A servo driver(308,310,312,314) controls the drive of the motor. The servo driver measures the one rotation or several rotations data for setting the point of the driver. A PLC unit(200) sets an initial point of the driver at each axis and calculates the current position using the one rotation or several rotations data of the motor at each axis received as the absolute encoder value from the servo driver. |
