SOLUTION: In the crankshaft mechanism for the engine provided with a piston 34, a crankshaft 40 provided with a crank pin 42 and a counter weight part 44, and a connecting rod 55 connecting the piston 34 and the crank pin 42 of the crankshaft 40, a circumference end inner side on an opposite side of the crank pin 42 of a counterweight part 44 is cut out at equidistance R from a center Q of the crank pin 42 to be formed in a shape avoiding a projected part 56 in the piston pin 37 direction of a lower end of a small end part 55b of the connecting rod 55 when the piston 34 reaches the bottom dead center.
