A rotor support device is provided which is adapted for supporting a rotor of a wind turbine while accessing at least one component of said wind turbine. The rotor support device includes a hinge comprising a fixed portion and a tiltable portion. The fixed portion is adapted for being mounted at a nacelle structure of the wind turbine and the tiltable portion is adapted for holding the rotor of the wind turbine and for being tilted about a hinge axis. Furthermore an actuator device is provided which is adapted for pivoting the tiltable portion about the hinge axis between a closed position where a rotor axis coincides with an axis of the drive train, and an open position where the rotor is offset from the drive train.
